Shelagh Aitken teaches Alexander Technique in London. and is a members of STAT, the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique. Shelagh studied at the Constructive Teaching Centre  in London.

The course is held at  Le Tertre, a four star manoir (gîtes de France).

Chartres with its great cathedral is an easy drive.

There are also other towns and attractions in the region with information in English.

One town nearby Mortagne is notes for its festival of boudin (the traditional French black pudding). The Marché de l'Art also takes place at La Perriere in May, 2008.

Le Tertre is close to Alençon and the Basse Normandie region.
