The Alexander Technique is a practical method to help restore the natural balance, poise and co-ordination we enjoyed as young children. Having sessions in the teachnique teaches you how to avoid unnecessary strain and tension, whatever you choose to do.
We live in a world where more is changing, more quickly, than we can keep track of, let alone adapt to. Lessons give you a chance to step back, catch up with yourself and re-evaluate your habitual responses.
Giving yourself the chance to pause, to think before you act, allows the possibility of noticing what you’re REALLY doing, rather than what you think you’re doing.
In the Alexander Technique, we look together at the whole person, in context, top to toe, mental as well as physical habits.
More about what to expect in a lesson. |
